We strive to give our clients the ultimate hunting experience and memories that will last a lifetime. We also offer a combination of bow and rifle hunting for those who are interested.
TROPHY HUNTING WITH RIFLE
African Guide Safaris use some of the most exclusive trophy hunting concessions in Southern Africa. We have large rifle hunting concessions that allow us to take down some of the biggest trophies available.
We only hunt top class, record book quality trophies with our clients. We believe in hunting for conservation and only hunt animals that have passed their prime.We also limit the amount of hunters annually to ensure all our clients take home huge trophies.
We believe in ethical hunting and only hunt on very large open areas where the animals have a fair fighting chance. Our professional hunters are some of the best in Africa that will take you up close and personal to the animals of Africa.
Hunting is mainly done on a system that a vehicle is used to locate pockets of game from where hunting on foot takes place.
If your medical situation does not allow for that, extreme care is taken to get you as close as possible to the trophy to make a fair and ethical shot from the hunting vehicle. The more days you book the better chance for a larger specimen. For Plains Game in general we work on one animal per day but you could bag more than one in a day or none at all. We suggest 1.5 days per animal. For dangerous game we suggest the following:

You may choose to hunt one on one (1×1) with your own Professional Hunter, or alongside a friend (2×1), two hunters with one Professional Hunter.
TROPHY BOW HUNTING
African Guide Safaris only use hunting concessions dedicated to bow hunting for trophy bow hunters, this enables our bow hunters to take down trophies in the same class as their rifle hunting counterparts. Our bow hunting areas are equipped with ground blinds, tree stands, platforms, and bush blinds. We also offer walk and stalk safaris for the more experienced bow hunters.
We specialise in bow hunting dangerous game by walk and stalk and have a very high success rate. We also go above and beyond to ensure the safety of our clients and always have more than one PH on our dangerous game hunts.
Both the directors of African Guide Safaris are passionate bow hunters and can give you expert advise on the perfect bow, arrow and blade setup to take down your dream trophy.

GROUP HUNTING
Hunting in a group with friends or family is the most affordable way to hunt. We can reduce our prices for groups considerably due to the fact that some of our expenses are fixed, whether we accommodate 1 or 4 hunters. For example: Our Chef gets paid the same whether he cooks for 1 guest or 6, the same goes for our trackers and skinners.
